Successful dyeing with natural materials and natural extracts requires that the natural fiber be prepared by cleaning, preparing, and mordanting before applying the dyestuff: Orvus paste, soda ash, scour, and aluminum acetate. aluminum potassium sulfate, sodium acetate, and tannin.
